If you are not eligible to hold a UK or EU passport, then you are likely to need to apply for a visa in order to enter the UK.
如果你不能持有英国或欧洲护照，则可能需要申请签证才能入境英国。
The UK operates a points-based immigration system; you must apply for a Tier 4 visa as a prospective student. It is your responsibility to identify whether you require a visa, and to understand and comply with the immigration requirements.
英国采取划分式的移民制度，留学生出国留学必须申请tier4签证。你应该确认自己是否需要办理签证，并了解移民需要符合哪些条件。
If you do require a Tier 4 visa, the University must sponsor you and will issue you with a CAS for your visa application.

If you already have UK immigration permission in another capacity, for example a dependent visa, work visa or ancestry visa, you may be able to study on that visa without needing to apply under Tier 4.

You cannot begin a course at Cambridge using an existing Tier 4 visa that is sponsored by another institution.
如果只是持有其它机构赞助的Tier4签证，则不能在剑桥大学开始课程学习。
移民申请所需材料
在申请过程中，申请人需要提供以下证据来辅助申请，主要包括:
1.申请表;
2.两份地址证明文件:
2.1地址证明文件必须包含申请人姓名、地址;
2.2地址证明文件必须为6个月内出具的文件证明;
3.护照或其他身份证明文件的复印件;
4.近期照片1张(照片尺寸45mm*35mm);
5.任何与申请有关的文件;
6.付款，可以是支票、邮局的Postal Order等
申请费用
依据申请类型的不同，申请人需要支付不同的费用，主要的费用如下:
1.加急服务:服务费用为80英镑，工作人员在收到申请后的2个工作日内处理完毕;
2.标准服务:服务费用为45英镑，工作人员在收到申请后的10个工作日内处理完毕。
以上服务费用已包括警局证明信的邮寄费用，若申请人在英国，则证明信会通过Post Office的一等邮件(1stClass)寄往申请人的地址，若申请人不在英国，则证明信会通过航空信件邮寄至申请人的地址。
此外，申请人还可以选择额外的附加服务，主要有以下三种:
1.额外一份警局证明信: 服务费用为6英镑一份;
2.邮寄服务升级: 服务费用为9英镑，邮寄服务将会升级为英国的次日送达或国际安全邮寄服务;
3.国际快递服务: 服务费用为48英镑，邮寄服务会转为通过国际快递公司进行邮寄。
