我去年七月八月在北京被拒签两次，家在西南，于是就把护照换了，回家找了个工作，准备再次签证。
12月4号第一次去成都，碰上瘦子签证官，他最初竟然把我当成是一签的人，问的问题也是一签的问题。
Tell me something about your program? Your plan? How long did you work?
我说我工作三个月。
他显得很惊讶，Then where did you work before?我说我那时侯在学校读书，他立刻警觉起来，翻我DS表后面拒签记录那一项，当他发现我在北京被拒签后，立刻说，我不能给你签证，因为你在北京被拒签过，我说我认为我应该在这里签，因为我家在这里我也在这里工作，你们网页上说的是与哪里的联系多就应该在哪里签。他说对，你应该在这里签，但最重要的事情是你在北京被拒过，按照我们的政策我没有权力放你。
我说：It is unfair.
他说：I know but I have to.
昨天，我去成都试最后一次，我又碰上了瘦子；这次的签证给我的印象比较深刻。
Me: Hello, officer. Because I was refused visa last time, I bring some new materials.
I just published one paper in...
VO:(make jesture to stop me)I know you . You were refused in Beijing.
Me:Yes. I was refused in early july. Sir there are so many students who was refused in Beijing and I don't know the reason...
Vo:July last year or the year before last?
Me:Last year.
VO:(摇头，叹气，抬起头来，用一种欠了我钱似的眼光看我）Ｉam very sorry. It is our policy that if you were refused in one place, you couldn't be issued visa in other place. It is not my opinion. It is our policy.
Me:Sir, I wish you can consider my overall situation. Perhaps I am more excellent than most of the student you let pass.(瘦子插话说I know you are a good student.
Your English is good)我接着说，After I was refused visa, my future advisor in northwestern
University was anxious. Here is the letter he wrote to you....
VO:No, no no. I don't want to see this. 停了一会他继续说，I suggest you contact your professor. If he is really interested in you , ask him to defer your offer to the fall semester. Then this July come here and I will consider your visa.
Me:Sir, thank you. Because Northwestern is a good university(瘦子插话说Very good University), I will not give up.Although the chance to defer my admission
is very slim, I will try. Wish to see you this July.
VO:OK. At that time please bring your work certification and some other materials to
show you worked one year.If you still get the offer from Northwestern, I will give you visa.
从领事馆出来，怀着一种复杂的感情上了公共汽车，想着瘦子说的话和他愧疚的眼神，我突然感到心里有一种感动，今天我第一次得到了签证官的理解和尊重，哪怕他没有给我签证，我觉得这已经足够了。同时我觉得我们也应该理解签证官，今天我的经历告诉我，并不是所有签证官都看不起我们，并不是所有的签证官都赞同美国的政策，象瘦子这样的人在拒绝我们的时候可能也在承受着良心的压力。
看到前面同学的签经以及北京一些签证官侮辱签证者人格的一些做法，我充分感觉到，本性善良的人和本性不善的人，哪怕他们做同样的事情，效果都不一样。
